2018 Nissan Titan: What to Expect for the 2018 Model?
If you are expecting a change for 2018 Nissan Titan, you are out of luck because such thing will likely not happening this year. It’s because Nissan has done a major change last year – which was due because the company hadn’t done it for many years. So, with the still fresh style and design, you can expect the 2018 model to come with the same design as last year.
About Nissan Titan
As it was mentioned before, the upcoming 2018 Nissan Titan will remain the same as before – still with its pickup styling and rugged construction. It has different bed and cab options for style as well as function. What about the interior cabin? It is likely the same too – still with the neat storage and spacious layout. The cabin may not be fashionable but it focuses on function. Instead of sleek touchscreen and controls, you can expect the old school knobs and buttons – and they have been placed and arranged in the smartest way. Even with the lack of artistic appeal, you have to admit that the cabin is somewhat cozy and masculine, in a sense.
Engine and Performance
Nissan Titan will be coming with various trims but the option for the engine is still available in one option only. It comes with V8 unit with 5.6 liter capacity delivering 390 hp of power and 394 Nm of torque. Although rumor has it that there will be V6 engine, there hasn’t been any official confirmation about the availability. Hopefully, the addition of V6 unit will be included in the changes happening to 2018 Nissan Titan. For this model, the rear wheel driving system will be the standard with optional four wheel driving system. The payload ability stays at 1,610 pounds with towing ability reaching 9,390 pounds, max.
Titan S will be the base trim, with LED cab mounted bed lights, vinyl floors, keyless ignition and entry, lockable tailgate, cloth seats, Bluetooth connection, and audio system with six speaker technology. Unfortunately, Titan hasn’t got any rating for front crash prevention because it hasn’t had the auto emergency brake.
Release Date and Price
It is expected that the Titan will be available in November 2017, if according to plans. Hopefully, there hasn’t been any change in the price. The base starts around $31,000 and the highest one sets at around $57,000. And hopefully, the 2018 Nissan Titan will be coming with a new V6.
